Cisco 890 Series

The Cisco 890 Series ISR provides integrated security and threat protection to protect the network from known and new Internet vulnerabilities and attacks. These powerful fixed-configuration routers provide secure broadband, metro Ethernet and wireless local area network (WLAN) connectivity. Service providers that offer hosted Ethernet WAN services can deploy them as CPEs to customer locations. Central and remote management capabilities are available through web-based tools and Cisco IOS® software to fully view and control network configuration at remote sites.

The 890 router simplifies the deployment of Ethernet WAN services, including end-to-end operations, management and maintenance (OA&M), service level agreement (SLA) monitoring and authentication, and configuration management.

he Cisco 890 Series ISR features an 8-port management switch that provides a LAN port to connect multiple devices. The optional Power over Ethernet (PoE) feature also powers IP phones and other devices, with 11 Cisco 890 Series models to choose from.
